EXAMPLE PRESENTATION OF NEW MASTER ARTIST
This artwork is a MRI scan of my brain. It is a ceiling piece.
Every time I see this artwork it reminds me of how relative my world is. It's fun to sit under my own brain while working: the artwork hangs from the ceiling, kind of like filtering the sunlight trought the contrasted structure of my brain.
There is a duality in this work: the nature and nurture. This duality is fun and inspiring.
1. The artwork symbolizes the current state of My World in 2007 (the nature). This reminds me that I only experience this world through my own sensations, thoughts and feelings, just like the brain is pre-programmed with standard patterns.
2. Secondly, the artwork symbolizes the future state of My World (the nurture). It tells me that I create and shape my own world, just like the brain is changeable and new structures and connections can be made.

My future plan is to make all 3 pieces (front and side too), so that I can actually stand inside my own head. See the lego-picture...
I always wanted to make 'ceiling-art'. Most artists are working on the walls, so I figured 'let's go to the ceiling', where many still have empty spaces.

Again this world is about reflecting upon my own world and motivating myself to face my fears and to dare to change. I can create my own world!
