I come from an artistic family, my father Steven van Welie (1912-1989) was an amateur draftsman and painter of portraits and landscapes, of Pulchri Studio in The Hague and Palette in Zwolle. The tricks he had learned back to the international renowned portraitist Anthony van Welie (1866-1956).
Self I will mainly abstract paintings.
