The story behind
Since I lived in Texas for 3 years I've visited Austin a couple of times and I've loved it every time! It's a city filled with music, culture, BBQ and Texan pride. The thing that strikes me the most about Austin is that it doesn't feel like a city, it's very laid back and quiet and the broad streets and lack of skyscrapers make it feel more like a small town then the capitol of Texas.
Materials & description
This is a mixed media piece on stretched canvas, I have used a combination of photo-collage and acrylics. The photo's have been transferred to the canvas with a acrylic gel. The sides of the canvas are painted black
