Requirements
Each artist may upload one of their (of course: self made) works.
The deadline is 31 December 2011. The deadline may be postponed.
Voting
The public and the experts will vote from 19 January 2012 until Sunday 19 February 2359 CET. These dates may change. New Master Artist will thereafter publish a list of the top 100 artworks, in random order. The length of top 100 may be changed to more or less, as decided in cooperation with our art experts. The voting process for the public may be made open to registered and non registered voters, as per discretion of the Organizer. It may also be split into two: one part where only registered users may vote and one part where any (also non-registered) visitor may vote.

"PUBLIC TOP 100"
A publication of the list of the Top 100 New Masters of 2011, according to votes of the public. The final publication of the top works will be in random order. Depending on quality and quantity we may change the lenght of the list to less or more than 100.
Artist prizes: € 5.000 total
"EXPERT TOP 10"
Art experts select the 10 winners out of the Top 100 New Master of 2011 (created by public votes as explained above). This will be done by the art experts currently using New Master Artist. As you know, this community is open (!) where new qualified experts may apply to join. The 10 winning artists will each receive € 500, plus publicity (obviously). Art experts may categorize the winners. Experts will vote for the quality of your artwork. How will this work? Well, the more you share about the artwork, the better Experts can make a choice. Artworks without details, explanations, sizes, artist resume, other artworks, will be much more difficult to judge than artworks that have a full presentation. Ratings by (other) experts will also help the experts make their choice. Each winning artist needs to match their New Master Artist account name, may have to certify (again) that they hold the copyrights, and has up to 4 weeks to provide bank details after announcement of the winners.

"EXPERT AWARDS"
Winners of the Expert Awards are: Elizabeth Leeor, James Miller, Peter Dellenbag, Catinca Tabacaru, Lori Johns and Max Hemelraad.
We encourage art experts to give their opinion about the artworks. We do this to stimulate transparancy in the art market. Experts win € 200 when they write a rating with al least 15 words of comments about one of the 25 top votes artworks of the final list of 2011 New Masters. The feedback has to help and inspire both the artist as well as the buyer. Maximum 3 prizes (= € 600) per expert. This is independent of the rating that the experts gave (it can be 1 to 5 stars). So we promote honest, open and informative feedback more than just 5 star praize-talk. Please bear in mind the expert etiquette we have, that experts are asked to follow to be considered by NMA. A total of € 2.200 was awarded. Congratulations!
