Walls Gallery is a large gallery at the Prinsengracht, the Netherlands, just around the corner of the Spiegelkwartier. Every two months we organize a group exhibition where young, promising artists can show their work. We exhibit photography, illustration, design and painting. Now we are looking for new talent! To meet with our criteria, you must be graduated from an official art academy within 10 years or less. Also the work has to fit within our gallery style, which is young, fresh and renewing. We offer you a meeting with us in our gallery in Amsterdam, to see your artworks and talk about the possibilities of exhibiting your work at Walls. Prize

If we announce winners, we will offer them an invitation for an interview and a portfolio review. Hopefully we can find a match, so we can represent you in our gallery. Our gallery works a bit different than others. Artists participate in our exhibitions by renting a space on the wall from the gallery. In exchange, the gallery does not charge commissions on sold works! It's a strategy that has been very successful for our clients and artists, since it appeals to buyers that they pay no commission and that they see the artist is ambitious. We also go to art fairs, such as the Affordable Art Fair.

Looking for art

The work should fit to our gallery in a sense that it should be young, fresh and renewing. We focus on photography, illustration, painting and design. Please view our website for an indication of what what kind of art we represent.

Requirements

To meet our criteria the artist must have an official art academy degree and must be graduated within 10 years or less. Artists need to live in The Netherlands or Belgium. You need to be willing to come to our gallery in Amsterdam to show your work if selected as winner. You may upload a maximum of 3 artworks per artist.

Winners

We are looking for a maximum of 5 new artists. There is no guarantee we will announce winners. It will depend on the quality.
