NewMasterArtist.com N.V. (hereinafter: "New Master Artist"), registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Amsterdam under number 343.84.352 and having its registered office and maintaining its place of business at Keizersgracht 762, (1017 EZ) Amsterdam, takes your privacy very seriously and will deal with your information with due care. This document sets out our Privacy Policy.

The definitions used in this Privacy Policy are the defined in the general terms and conditions of New Master Artist (the "Terms"), which can be found at our website www.newmasterartist.com. 

Who is New Master Artist? 

New Master Artist is a data controller in respect of the processing of your personal data within the meaning of the Dutch Data Protection Act. In the context of the Dutch Data Protection Act 'personal data' are data that can be traced to a private individual/ information which may identify you in some way, such as your name, address, age and other contact details. The manner in which your personal details are saved and used has been reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (number m1433546).

What information is collected and processed by New Master Artist?

You can be an Artist, an Expert or a User of the Website. New Master Artist may collect information about an Artwork, the background of an Artist and an Expert, a Rating or other personal data. We may use your information for the following purposes:

-          generate publicity for the Artwork, Artist, Expert or New Master Artist

-          rating an Artwork;

-          compiling user statistics;

-          security and improvement of our website;

-          providing additional information about the developments and services of New Master Artist.

Your personal data will not be used for any purposes other than the above. We may instruct third parties to perform services on our behalf in respect of the processing of your personal data. We will not disclose your personal data to any other third parties. Your data can be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area. Such transfer will take place within the context of the performance of the agreement(s) with you.
